Bonjour!
we’re Ali & Toni
and we both have a knack for immersing ourselves in new places, easily making new friends, and finding the best butter. After multiple travel experiences together, including trips to France to work with a private French tutor, we are excited to share our love of French culture and language while helping you discover the magic that comes from connecting with new people and places. With over 20 years of experience as youth leaders (in schools, community, and church) and as mothers, our warm personalities and tireless pursuit of unique experiences will undoubtedly make our trip together meaningful and memorable.
it’s lovely to meet you.
Toni
While studying in Paris at 19, Toni fell in love with all things French. Her adoration for the country has only grown as she has continued to visit and study its history, art, language, and culture into her adult life. Toni delights in knowing just where to eat, and the best books to read, and believes the perfect speed to enjoy life is by bike.
Toni is a connector; warm, energetic and genuinely interested in everyone she meets. She has a house full of family, friends, neighbors and children and good food on hand to feed them all. Always up for an adventure, whether it’s in her backyard or across an ocean, she is continually charmed by the people and experiences she invites into her life.
Ali
Ali’s experience leading tours started as a boat tour guide on the San Antonio Riverwalk where she made enough money to purchase her first car. Since those sweaty college summers, she’s moved around the world with stints in Paris, Amsterdam, Sweden, Denver, Seattle and mostly Raleigh. Her effortless style, creative flair, and one-of-a-kind sense of humor infuse every moment with fun. Besides being a go-to travel advisor, she is a mother, wife, lawyer, volunteer and friend who recently swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco.
